ReplyDeleteYou have created an awesome post here about three things you have learnt from the School Strike for Climate website!
I knew that school children in Australia and across the world were having school strikes to make people aware of climate change, but I didn’t know that there were 6-7 million people striking world wide. That is such a large number of people all working together to achieve their common goal. Have you ever been apart of a strike for climate change? If so, when?
When you say that they are not accepting any new coal, oil or gas products, what do you mean by this?
To help prevent climate change, I went three months without using any plastic. It was an extremely hard task to begin with, but the longer I stuck with it, the easier it became.
There are so many items in our world that either use plastic when they don’t need any at all, or use way too much plastic in their packaging. I believe that if everyone changes one small thing about the way they use plastic, the world would be in a much better position.
What kinds of things do you do to help prevent climate change?
